About Us

Mission Press, established by the Conventual Franciscan Friars in Zambia,
has a rich history dating back to 1951. Initially, it began as a humble Church
newsletter, Kristu Alundululwe, in Kitwe’s St. Francis Parish. Over the years, it
evolved into a monthly magazine, Kacema Musuma, and later became known as
Kitwe Printers in 1966. The Franciscan Friars relocated the press to Ndola’s
Franciscan Centre in 1970 and renamed it
Mission Press. Today, Mission Press stands as Zambia’s largest Christian non
profit printing and publishing institution.
